President Heather welcomed Rotarians and Partners of Members to the weekly meeting with a welcome home to the northern travellers, PP Noel & Robyn.

Following the traditional formalities, a minutes silence was observed to honour Mary Flynn, wife of Rtn Joe. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe and his family, Liz, Louise, Jules, Dave and Gub.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Fraser St, Rochester on Wednesday, 16th Apr. at 11.00am
ROADEC:
PP Graeme presented the final copy of the ROADEC DVD and has ordered 200 copies for distribution. Graeme has also made enquiries as to the cost of television advertising and will be meeting shortly with David Park to make the suggested amendments to the ROADEC website.
Bunnings BBQ: Members are reminded that we will be holding a BBQ are Bunnings, Echuca on Sunday, 20th April. The roster will be finalised at the next meeting.
50th Anniversary: PP Noel announced that plans are underway for this event to be held Sunday 26th October. Quotes have been received for the printing of the Club History and a notice has been placed in “Desperately Seeking” in the Herald Sun in order to contact former members. If you are aware of the present address of former members, please notify PP Noel.
Court House:
In the absence of PP Ray, PP Graeme reported that the replacement of the floor has finally commenced. A working bee was arranged to remove the 2 safes and other furniture.
Pres. Heather has been working on plans for the replacement of the kitchen.
Pie & Port: Pres. Heather reminded members that this event will take place on Saturday 3rd May at the Fire Station. Please notify Heather of your attendance.
Sec. Bryan reported on the combined meeting with Rotary Club of Echuca-Moama and Cooking with Rithy. Both of these events were reported in the previous bulletin.
Rochester Fine Art Exhibition 24th – 27th April:
Tickets for the Opening Night ($20), Thursday, 24th April and the Italian Dinner and Auction, Friday 25th April are available on line at the redhs website. Tickets for the Opening may also purchased at Dingwall’s Newsagency and it is recommended that these be purchased prior to the event in order to assist with catering. General admission tickets will be available at the door.
