Next Meeting: Thursday 2nd June at the Court House. This is a Board Meeting and Directors are asked to send reports to Heather asap for inclusion in the agenda. Cliff Downey from RC Echuca Moama will be joing us to discuss our role at the Steam Rally.
May: Youth Service Month 2 of the Youth Service Programs that RC Rochester promotes through the Rochester Secondary College. • RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards): RYLA is a week long live-in camp program that assembles for leadership training, young persons currently engaged in some aspect of youth work. The program exposes participants to challenges and to opportunities for development of their leadership skills to enhance their service to the community. The RYLA Seminar offers a youth-to-youth training experience, within the ambit of educational and recreational activities. • RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program Of Enrichment): This program is directed towards 14 to 17 year old students. Its principal aim, through weekend seminars, is to develop awareness of their place in society, and their responsibility to it.

Following our evening of cake baking, a very successful stall was held at Bunnings, Echuca on Saturday 21st May. Sales were a little slow to start with but by mid afternoon the majority of our stock had disappeared.
Our meeting of Thursday 26th May was a Theatre Night supporting the Echuca Moama Theatre Company.
Congratulations to the Company for producing such high quality entertainment in its production of “Anything Goes”.
Last Thursday, Pres. Noel was invited to the Rochester Primary School where members of the Stratallan Landcare Group installed glider nesting boxes financed by RC Rochester and constructed by a group of Yr 5/6 students.
