SES: An invitation has been received for members to attend the SES’s 40th Anniversary. An Open House is to be held on Saturday 1st Aug., 10am – 2.00pm with equipment displays and a sausage sizzle. Past member Reg Ellis was one of the founding members of this group and gave many years of valued service to the SES.
Rochester Chamber of Commerce & Industry will be holding their AGM at Community House on Friday 31st July at 12.30pm. Rotarians are invited to attend.
ROADEC: PP Graeme reported that 7 representatives of D9800 Clubs had completed the course last weekend. Favourable comments were received from all participants. A meeting was held with D9800 representatives to form the Board of Management of ROADEC that, will include the RC of Rochester President or Representative. Members looked at financial and risk management issues. Marketing of ROADEC is to be a major initiative of the new Board. Meanwhile, PP Graeme has been invited to give presentations at several District Clubs.
The Bus: Bookings are coming in on a regular basis and this week The Bus was out 3 times.
FARSE: With less than a month to this event, plans are progressing although members expressed concern that no contact has yet been made with Campaspe News. It has been suggested that more use be made of social media and community web pages. This year the Water Police will be returning and it was pleasing to learn that Bunnings have confirmed that they will be attending their first FARSE.

The Rotary Leadership Institute is planned to start on 10 August 15. RLI which commenced in 1992 is a grassroots coalition of Rotary districts implementing a leadership development program for “potential” leaders of Rotary Clubs. This is a great opportunity for members to develop your leadership skills without having to travel to Melbourne. Further information is available from Pres. Noel.
