At the final club meeting for the Rotary Year 2014-15 where a delicious meal was provided by Linda Belot, Pres. Noel welcomed Rotarians Ray Lewis, Heather Watson, Noel Schier, Russell Anderson and Graeme Nelson and Rotary Partner Robyn Lucas.
Apologies were received from Stewart and Pam McDonald and Bryan Griffiths.
Bull Ed apologises for leaving Partner Graeme Watson off the attendance list for the meeting of 11 June.
The meeting of 18th June was a Vocational meeting at Bunnings Echuca. Community Co-ordinator Brooke Palmer and Store Manager Rob, welcomed approximately 80 guests representing community groups from Echuca, Moama, Tongala and Kyabram. Brooke introduced a presentation that gave an insight into the wide-ranging support given by Bunnings to these groups. The evening concluded with a sausage sizzle provided by Bunnings Staff.
Court House: A revised draft of hire conditions will be circulated to members following the additions and changes made by members.
Kitchen Fitout: It was resolved that the quotation received from John Columbine of Easily Fixed Cabinet Making Pty Ltd for the supply and installation of the Court House kitchen be accepted.
Disabled Entry: While one quotation has been received for the disabled entry, we are still awaiting a second quote.
The Rotary Community Bus: PP Graeme reported that a full bus load reported to the Bendigo Blood Bank on Tuesday as part of the Club Red Challenge. Bookings for the bus are rather quiet at this time of the year but still average at least one outing per week.
ROADEC: PP Graeme reported that 5 members from district clubs have been appointed to the Management Committee of ROADEC. The new Committee will meet shortly. Club Presidents and Community Service Directors from all Clubs in D9800 have been invited to attend a ROADEC Course over the weekend of July 18 -19. At this stage 5 replies have been received. Students from Kyabram College and Rochester Secondary College will be attending the Course during July and September.
Members are reminded that we are to be rostered on duty, week commencing 27th July.
Dates of Club Changeovers: District Governor: Saturday 27 June 2015 at Ultimo Function Centre, Keilor. $70 p/p. Details on District website. Three members have indicated they will be attending. Any members still wishing to attend this function are asked to remit payment to Sec. Heather by 4th June so that Treas. Russell can finalise payment by the required RSVP date.
