Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWC) Sponsoring Education For Children in Indonesia. The Club will continue the sponsorship of $220 for two children for a further 12 months. We have supported this programme for many years and look forward to hearing of the progress of our students.

ROADEC: The final student group completed the driver education course last Friday 19th. Chairman Graeme reported that a total of 66 students participated over the 8 days. Unfortunately a weekend course planned for a group of Melbourne students has been postponed due to the Elmore Events Centre being used by a Scout Group over the same weekend. Hopefully the group will be able to attend later in 2015.

Court House: With the skirting boards installed the final fitting off of electrical power points & switchboard can be completed.

Foundation: A Seminar in Bendigo is being planned for a Monday night in October. Date TBA This will be the same as the Melbourne event and will provide credit to clubs to apply for grants. We await the date announcement.

Rotary Club of Charlton: Annual Arts Exhibition is to be held from Friday 10th October to Monday 13th. In addition to the Art Exhibition the weekend is busy in Charlton with the Lions Swap Meet on Sunday morning and a Garden Day on the Sunday starting at 11am. A pleasant weekend trip?

Thought for the week: Promises mean everything, but after they are broken, sorry means nothing.
